MISSION AND PROGRAMS

Mission

Higher Calling Ministries, founded in 2000, desires to provide outreach programs, educational workshops & seminars,educational opportunities and provide scholarships/grants to those in need. Also, to the development and/or sponsorship in the areas of any program(s)or service(s) that will help the poor, under-privileged, low-income families and at-risk youth of our community to obtain the pursuit of happiness as afforded in the Constitution of the United States.

Programs

Higher Calling Ministries provides Christian education by providing Victorious Living workshops and seminars, other seminars & workshops designed to help the people to have better living conditions. Also provide comfort, charitable or benevolent aid and support to the widows, poor, needy and infirmed. Provide educational opportunities to at-risk youth of our community.

Higher Calling Ministries, Inc. received an award from the Dallas Housing Authority Service for Provider Volunteer Awards Program on April 23, 2002.

GOALS AND RESULTS

Accomplishments for Fiscal Year Ending February 28, 2004

  1. We started a satellite Christian mission inside an apartment complex so that the people of the congregation are culturally and linguisticly in harmony with the community surrounding it.

Objectives for Fiscal Year Beginning March 1, 2004

  1. To expand our base so we can reach others who are unware of our various outreach programs.
