The Flame Of Evangelism Must Never Go Out

Evangelism involves a commitment to the Lordship of Christ. Every church should have an
Evangelism Department. If not, then ask yourself this question-" Whom do the pastor, church leaders, and church members pray to and commit unto"? If they tell you that they are serving Jesus, do not believe this excuse because in Proverbs 11:30, it will tell you that "The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that WINS souls is wise". Jesus instructed us to "Go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." [Saint Mark 16:15] This is Evangelism.
People committed to the call of evangelism have a burning flame within to win souls. This fire burns constantly, and must continue to do so, to effectively fulfill the great commission. It is not something done at convenient times, but rather an ongoing opportunity to be seized as the Lord leads, at a moment's notice.
"Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season, reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine....But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry." 2 Timothy 4:2,5.
There is no room for man's vain philosophies of fast, easy evangelism.
"To the law and to the testimony if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is NO light in them", according to Isaiah 8:20.
Every motive, every emotion, and every experience must be tested under the light of God's Word.
People who are committed to the Lord stand the test, while those who claim to be committed fail somewhere along the way, and are numbered among the unfaithful. It is imperative that we be totally committed to Christ. Only those committed to Jesus Christ will faithfully serve Him.
"No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other, or else he will hold to one, and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. [St. Matthew 6:24].
A commitment to Jesus, the Anointed One, is the consigning of our lives to HIM. It is giving Jesus first place in our lives. It is giving HIM the key of entrance to every room, every nook and each corner of our lives to HIM.
The person who hears the Word of God and
refuses to do right and swing into action -- faces serious spiritual difficulties. Blessings belong to those who hear the Word and
do GOD'S Will. (James 1:22-25).
"You must be aware of the false churches here in the world" stated Apostle Paul.
Yes, you must be aware of the false pastors, false churches, false teachers, false teachings, etc., which already are in your town/community.
You and I cannot close ours eyes on this matter because they exist,
are doing well and here to stay. Keep the flame lit now, or burn later.
